ARE COOKIES VEGAN?

Updated: Jun 26, 2023

Cookies are typically prepared by combining creamed butter and sugar, along with flour, eggs, and baking powder. Once the base mixture is ready, one can incorporate additional ingredients such as fruit, nuts, and, of course, chocolate into the batter.

Are cookies suitable for vegans?

Absolutely! While eggs and butter were mentioned as common ingredients earlier, eggs are not necessary and plant-based butter can be used as a substitute. If you're purchasing cookies from a store or café, it's always a good idea to review the ingredients label or inquire about their vegan status before indulging.

Cookbook Testimonial: "I thoroughly enjoyed ALL the recipes, my son especially LOVES the avocado toast. I eat the lentil soup for breakfast, please don't judge me, I love a good healthy breakfast! The Morrocan chicken was a lot hardier than I expected. Nice variety and all are new keepers, thank you."
